I strictly ship based on chemistry. I really can’t do any of that “it just is” or "there's natural attraction".A muse's lack of interest or realization of romantic advances does not reflect the mun’s opinion on shipping I’m open to nearly all ships, just don’t assume a ship is going to happen.Basically, my rule of thumb is if your muse likes mine they can try their best to get them to recuperate the feelings, whether it happens just depends on the vibes.I do not plan ships right off the bat when the muses have not interacted yet or have barely interacted. We do not have to RP everything in chronological order so long as we plot.       ❦ The Reader

A scholar who was exiled when the Commonwealth discovered their highly illegal collection of books. The Reader was physically crippled in their legs once they were caught, all of their books burned, and they were cast into the unforgiving Downside soon after. They almost died shortly after managing to drag themselves out of the river after the fall but were saved by three traveling exiles who they would go on to join their search for freedom from this purgatory and eventually, to change their country for the better.The Reader of the Nightwings escaped the Downside by being offered freedom by Oralech after showing him the truth of what led to his downfall. They spent a fair amount of time aiding in rebuilding and reforming the Commonwealth into the Sahrian Union after the revolution.Now, the Reader travels beyond the borders of their country and perhaps even into other worlds to live their life truly free.Selfless, compassionate, and highly empathetic, the Reader is easy to get along with. They are very plain-looking and nondescript, something exasperated by their beige hooded cloak that conceals much of their appearance. The only outstanding features on them is the mark of a reader on the back of their cloak as well as the one branded in their skin near their temple. Unlike most from their lands they are literate which also bestows to them some level of mental powers. These include being able to "hear" someone's inner thoughts and general feelings if they've not been specifically trained to resist such attempts, project their thoughts into other people's minds directly, temporarily take away mild memories to affect someone's emotions (e.g. if someone is angry about something they can be made to forget what they are so angry about for a short time), able to "reach out to" someone to communicate pure truths to them, and on rare occasions when one's mind is distracted is able to manipulate people in their mind to even alter their stance on things they are very adamant about.They are often accompanied by Ti'zo the drive imp that was a part of the Nightwings during the Reader's exile. A bat-like creature about the size of a small dog that can understand what others say but communicates in speaks and coos. As old friends the Reader can deduce the meanings of Ti'zo's calls well and translate to anyone present. While Ti'zo looks small and cute he is actually much older and wiser than he may come off to others.While the presence goes unknown by most, the Reader also carries with them a magical orb known as the Beyonder's Crystal. Within it, the wraith of former assassin Sandra the Unseeing is bound. As promised, the Reader took the crystal with them at the end of their journey with the Nightwings.[Nothing past the Reader being able to sense the general emotions of the other muse will be used without extensive OOC plotting.As there aren't many Pyre muses any crossovers can be explained away by the Reader traveling far away many years after the events of the game for a more modern era to be interacted with or some mystical portal can just open or something lol.I will also write the versions of the Reader where the ending was different given how it is dependent on the player's choices. The above is just my default but I will also write the Reader after a violent rebellion or if they remain in the Downside, etc.]

      ❦ Sissel
Ghost Trick
(He/They ; Not open to romomantic shipping. [HE'S REDACTED])Non-spoilerly jist: Sissel is a ghost that can possess nonliving objects. He can cover short distances by jumping from object to object and can manipulate ones that are not too heavy. If someone dies, he can rewind time to 4 minutes before their death to try and change their fate using his Ghost Tricks. To travel larger distances he can travel through phone lines to locations he's traced once possessing a line when the phone is in use. He used to only be able to speak to the dead or those who died and were brought back by a ghost trick but as his powers developed over time he's able to telepathically communicate with anyone he directs his thoughts to even in the living world. If a victim is saved, their memory of dying and the original timeline remains.He's mostly serious but does have a sarcastic sense of situational humor. Sissel has a strong sense of justice and even if it doesn't directly benefit him he doesn't like watching people die so will try and save someone that meets and untimely end with his Ghost Tricks.[MAJOR GHOST TRICK SPOILERS SKIP TO AVOID!!! Please play this game blind trust me. Will tag spoilers for this game on blog with #ghost trick spoilers]The ghost of a cat who went on a complicated time-bending journey to figure out the mystery of himself and his death. With the Temsik meteorite shard now in him he doesn't have to worry about his feline form decaying and he even still has his Ghost Tricks. Sissel is mostly serious but does have a humorous side through irony and dry sarcasm. He has a strong sense of justice and is deeply protective of his owners.His Ghost Tricks allow him move about the world outside of his cat form over short distances by jumping from object to object and possessing those that have "Cores". He can travel larger distances by using phone lines once he has traced a call in progress. Using his Tricks he can manipulate objects to a small degree, by moving, opening, turning things on, etc. They can't be anything too heavy though, otherwise he can't do anything with the object. Sissel can also manipulate his own cat-form but that is the only 'living' thing he can use a Ghost Trick on.If someone dies, he is able to go back 4 minutes before their death and try and find a way to prevent it using his Ghost Tricks. This only works on corpses that have been dead for less than a day. The soul of the dead person can accompany him in his efforts. If they are saved, their memories of the original timeline of them dying remains. Sissel can communicate with the dead telepathically and vice versa. Once someone has died and been saved from a ghost trick they can hear Sissel telepathically in the living world too and vice versa. Post-canon he is able to do this even if the person has not died and come back due to the development of his powers over time. When interacting with someone who doesn't know him he often takes the image of his owner, Yomiel since a talking human is a lot less confusing than a talking cat.Sissel travels to many places to aid one of his owners, Lynne, who is a detective in her investigations.[Obviously he won't use the rewind time ghost trick without it being plotted first! By default Sissel will be post-canon for interactions but I will happily do RPs set during canon or pre-canon!.]

Once upon a time her name was Saran and she was a borisin war slave. She was too young to remember if her mother had been born into this circumstance or if her family had been captured by the borisin when she was too young to remember. The cruelty of the borisin that enslaved the foxians were limitless and she dreamed of freedom. She'd made may attempts but they did not get far before she had to abandon them and wait for a better opportunity. One night that opportunity came, and she convinced a dear friend of her's, Neergul, to come with her. In their mad dash for freedom however, the two got separated. While she was found by Yueyu, the Arbiter-General of the Yaoqing and rescued, her former home was reduced to a bottomless pit by the Reignbow Archer's arrow.Determined to leave her old life behind she renamed herself to Feixiao and started a new life as Yueyu's disciple. She wanted to help fight back against the borisin and the Abominations of Abundance. Feixiao honed herself into a deadly weapon, becoming proficient in all forms of martial arts. It is during her younger Cloud Knight years that she discovers she bears the Moon Rage affliction and has an ability of being able to move with enhanced speed, both of which sparks fear in her comrades.After Yueyu's death in the Third Abundance War, Feixiao succeeded her. Her time is limited due to her condition, but she will make her limited years count, to eliminate as many Abominations as she could and save as many as she can from the Reignbow's arrows.Pre the battle with Hoolay she was unbothered by what the future may hold for her, only focused on accomplishing as much as she could to protect people from the Abominations of Abundance and the shooting stars of the Reignbow Arbiter. After consuming the Crimson Moon she's forced to give the distant future more thought now, unsure of what consuming the Crimson Moon may mean for her, or how long she may live now. Though she is relieved that at least the Moon Rage is gone now. Now, one of her top priorities is finding a way to fix Jiaoqiu's eyes.Feixiao is a bold and confident person. She's very physically active and uses all manner of weapons in combat. She doesn't have a favorite out of the ones she uses, however, they are tools for different jobs. While mainly focused on her work as General she is not without fun. She works had and plays hard. She loves to eat and eats quite a lot due to whenever she uses her enhanced speed she rapidly burns calories. Don't let her have alcohol if you value your property. Unlike Jing Yuan, since the Yaoqing is involved in much more active conflicts Feixiao travels about a lot more than him and can be found in many different places across the cosmos.[Note: Unless interacting with a Jing Yuan muse, the Jing Yuan my Feixiao may refer to or mention casually ic is my own. I also may make some hcs involving the two but again that is treating them as canon to each other by default and will not be expected or forced onto other muns.

      ❦ Archjustice Androbeles IX / The Voice

Much of the details of the Archjustice is shrouded in mystery, as is the norm of the leadership of the Commonwealth. Androbeles is never seen by others without his white mask, but his people can recognize him from his extravagant wig, lavish robes, black gloves, and golden staff he uses to exile criminals to the Downside.Formerly known as Brighton, he was the predecessor reader of the Nighwings before Volfred Sandalwood. Once he regained his freedom from the Downside he quickly rose in the ranks of the leadership roles of the Commonwealth until he became Archjustice. Only a select few know this, exiles that knew him before he was freed and a few of the other leaders of the Commonwealth are among those few. After all, the Downside is supposed to be a life sentence and inescapable.Androbeles was responsible for much of the stricter and extreme laws of the Commonwealth. He was brutal with his punishments, anyone he deemed unfit for the Commonwealth he exiled to the inhospitable Downside, even for minor offenses. Often, he inflicted some other punishment upon someone before he cast them down. He has a very arrogant, dramatic, and over the top way of speaking even for the most mundane of things. He believes his interpretation of the Rites and the words of the Scribes is the only valid one.As a reader, he can sense a person's inner thoughts and general emotions by being in proximity to them as well as project words into others' minds. On rarer occasions he can inject his voice into someone's dreams even if great distances separate them. During the cycle of the Rites part of his duties was to oversee them and would inject his commentary over whoever was unfortunate enough to be participating that night. He searches for a suitable heir to start training for he knows he won't live forever and wishes to keep the glorious tradition of the Scribes going and ensure the Commonwealth's survival.[I will also write post-canon or pre-canon Archjustice, but by default it will be during the Commonwealth's rein.For crossover muses he will likely be a disembodied voice in other muse's heads and can be explained away by some kind of new magical connection to distant lands/worlds unrelated to the Rites, even though usually the Voice can only watch the Rites and those preforming them can hear him when he isn't physically present. He'll be like an annoying sportscaster that doesn't like you and is commenting on how you live life.]

Devil May Cry, 16(DMC3) - 32(DMC5)

Known as 'The Walking Arsenal' she was born as the daughter to Arkam. She abandoned her birth name along with any ties to her father when he sacrificed her mother in a ritual to gain demonic power. With some help from Dante they stopped Arkam's plans and Lady took her new name.She became a devil hunter by trade. While Lady learned that not all demons were evil by meeting Dante, there still were plenty out there that needed slaying. Armed with a large variation of guns she is skilled in both hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship. Her go-to weapon however, is a rocket launcher fitted with a bayonet named Kalina Ann in honor of her mother.While fully human unlike many of the hunters she's worked with she can hold her own against most demons, but she isn't indestructible. She always carries plenty of extra ammo and grenades, seemingly a near infinite supply. She gets paid well for her gigs and is far more responsible with her earnings than a certain pizza freak (that still needs to pay her back for the money she lent him godammit!).Lady has heterochromia, her right eye being a green-blue and her left being red. This is a quality her father had as well. She has quite a visible scar across her nose from her childhood. Her preferred mode of transportation is by motorcycle. She travels around to aid anywhere demons are causing trouble.When it comes to work, Lady is much more serious than Dante or Trish who she's worked with in the past, but over time she's learned to loosen up and have a little bit of fun amidst all the chaos. A long-life species and the Arbiter-General of the Cloud Nights aboard the Xizanzhou Luofu starship who has accomplished many feats in his younger years. While he is a very wise and great strategist as well as leader nowadays he prefers to get as much done with minimal effort. This, along with his friendly casual personality earned him the nickname 'the dozing general'. But when it comes to the protection of the people aboard the Luofu he does everything within his power to keep them safe and the citizens have had many years of peace because of him.Behind his public appearance he harbors a lot of sadness toward the friends he lost from the High Cloud Quintet. Often he feels he is displaced in time. But he masks this all behind his outward personality.Jing Yuan is a powerful swordsman who owes all of his techniques from the teachings of the Luofu's previous Sword Champion, Jingliu, a name that has been stricken from the public record due to her crimes. He rarely unleashes the full power under his control of the Lightning Lord, a huge glowing avatar that can either mirror Jing Yuan's attacks and with also attack on its own once enough power has been stored up.Jing Yuan has an apprentice, Yanqing who is determined to become the next Sword Champion. While it's obvious the boy has a lot of skill and trains hard, in Jing Yuan's mind his apprentice still lacks the experience he needs to fully come into his own. However, he proudly watches every step of progress Yanqing makes and is always happy to help guide him.While normally aboard the Luofu, there are times that Jing Yuan's position requires him to travel elsewhere throughout the galaxy separate from the Luofu for the Xianzhou alliance is always on the move as well as collaborating among other ships. Rarely is he actually in his office, the Seat of Divine Foresight. Eventually he hopes to pass along his responsibilities to Fu Xuan, the master diviner and his apprentice Yanqing.[Note: Unless interacting with a Feixiao muse, the Feixiao my Jing Yuan may refer to or mention casually ic is my own. As far as anyone knows, Hugo Vlad is a collector. Most notably of fine arts that can and do fetch a high price whenever he sells them. His art gallery easily sets him up for a comfortable life, but that is not enough for him.Unbeknownst to nearly all*, he is the leader of the infamous band of phantom thieves known as Mockingbird. In his younger years, he had an idea. An idea to create a group that would help tip the scales of this world to curb the unfair nature of it. Along with Lycaon, they set out to counteract some of this unfairness by stealing from the rich and redistributing the wealth with their own hands.That was a long time ago, back when they were both very different people. Before the incident and before (in Hugo's eyes) Lycaon betrayed him.Hugo continues to operate Mockingbird, now with Vivian, someone he sees as a younger sister. While some would say his methods to achieving his goals are too extreme, Hugo doesn't think so. Sometimes this world needs a villain. Someone who isn't too pompous and self-righteous to get their hands dirty, to do the ugly things that need to be done. If Hugo has to be that person he will.It was the role he had resigned himself to. Yet after a medicinally induced 'therapy session' with his innermost self thanks to Hartman drugging him he has come to terms with his inner demons and integrated it. It may have a purpose, there will be times to harness it, but it will not control him. He no longer desires to act as a god to those he sought revenge on. Things are amicable between him and Lycaon now that many things have come to light, even if Hugo will never fully forgive the thiren for his betrayal. Ironically, Hartman gave him the opportunity to better himself. Hugo can rest easy now, knowing that the Ravenlock name is ruined.Hugo can be found in New Eridu posing as an art collector. But behind the scenes he's the leader of Mockingbird. He's cunning, charming, and has a flair for the dramatics. Though he's stubborn in his ideals to a fault and believes himself right.* [canonically right now only Belle, Wise, Vivian, Lycaon, and Hartman known that Hugo is the leader of Mockingbird. Jing Yuan found himself caring for the child as the boy had gotten the most used to his presence after that first day and wasn't happy to be separated from him. The plan had simply been to hang onto the child until his parents/guardians could be located or a more permanent solution could be found. But then Jing Yuan fell in love. He didn't formally adopt Yanqing but he raised the boy from then on. Yanqing followed him around like a shadow, interested in everything he did and soon enough followed the General's footsteps in becoming a Cloud Knight. Yanqing is a prodigy with the sword and became the youngest-ever Cloud Knight Lieutenant but still has much experience needed to be gained. While neither seem to admit it, the two clearly have a father and son-like relationship. Now that Yanqing is getting older Jing Yuan struggles with the balance of letting his apprentice walk his own path while still being a parent mentor.❦ ICE-AND-LIGHTNING / Moze (Honkai Star Rail ★ Shadow Guard & Found Family), as written by Veri Many years ago Feixiao made a deal with a young teen who only knew the world through the Disciples of Scantus Medius' eyes. This young lad ended up becoming her loyal Shadow Guard. The agreed upon 'assination' attempts became less and less with time as Feixiao got to pay forward a kindness that was given to her by Yueyu many years ago. To show someone else the humanity that still lies within them. While unplanned, herself and Jiaoqiu grew very fond of the shadow. Moze is someone they she trusts with her life. Whether it be protecting her six, scounting ahead, or doing the undesirable work of the Xianzhou, he is always reliable. Feixiao just hopes he can remember he is a person too. After all, shadows make companions of us all.

Seemingly displaced from a time before the HQC fell apart Yingxing has a large gap of his memory missing after awakening on an abandoned space station before trying to make his way to the Luofu. While neither of them fully know how this all came to be, the strength of their bond and love remains unchanged from the glory days of their youth. Jing Yuan is just grateful to have the craftsman back in his life. Together, they can slowly begin to heal from all they've been through since they've been apart. For as long as Yingxing would like, Jing Yuan has invited him to stay in his home. It feels nice to have someone in his life again that won't just see him as Arbiter-General and rather as a person. Their relationship goes beyond any one label, but they are partners and love each other and that is what really matters. However, they still give each other plenty of shit and be utter menaces to each other quite often. After "coincidentally" running into the traveler multiple times the general found he was right about the other hiding something but was wildly off about what it was. Jing Yuan would keep the other's secret of his past life being the High Elder of the Yuque for he already has one friend who's trying to escape the restrictive life of being High Elder so he understood the plight. Despite it being under false pretenses at first he did genuinely enjoy spending time with the Vidyadhara and continued to do so, eventually leading them both to help each other out with some very personal matters, forming a deep bond between the two. After a long heart-to-heart they came to realize the love they felt for each other could also entail another aspect if they so wish.V; Three parts to love (polyship, Honkai Star Rail) Jing Yuan ¤ Yingxing ¤ Eros
Jing Yuan was fairly certain his partner Eros and one of his dearest old friends, Yingxing could barely stand each other. Not in a legitimately malicious way but in a begrudging respect way with a dash of fondness in an odd roundabout way of expressing it. And then one day Shoi-Ming asked what if they were dating Yingxing as well. He was flabbergasted and had never considered such a thing with the craftsman as Jing Yuan is just not wired to see such things as a possibility unless the other person makes a first and very obvious move. While nervous about the logistics and possibly ruining a friendship, Jing Yuan was not opposed to such an arrangement. If Eros was interested in inviting Yingxing into their relationship and Yingxing was willing, Jing Yuan would have no qualms. They are both two of his best friends, so he would love them no matter what. It turns out, Yingxing did not have any qualms with such an arrangement either, and he (of course) teased Jing Yuan about his nervousness and less than regal reaction when Eros popped the question to the craftsman. While something new for Jing Yuan, he feels the nature of his love for these two matter far more than its form.

The Alliance and the Ten-Lords however, were only interested in his usefulness as a strategist. No matter how many times he tried to appeal the sentence he was not even granted an audience.He thought maybe this would change once appointed Arbiter-General. It did not. When he was finally called in for a meeting about the matter he thought maybe he'd finally gotten a foothold.But the Marshal, Ten-Lords Commission, and the Vidyadhara Preceptors informed him that the answer to his incessant pleas was a resounding 'no' that would never change. They did not trust him. He was close friends with Dan Feng the 'sinner', so of course they didn't trust him. He could not be trusted.Jing Yuan resigned that very same day. Anointing Fu Xuan as his successor, severing his connection to the Lightning Lord, and passing along its scroll to the young Master Diviner. He knew she wasn't ready yet for the job but out of all the monsters in the Xianzhou government, she was one glimmer of light. He becomes known as the shortest-serving Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou and his name is remembered with disgrace. He had no desire to try and save face when the Alliance so clearly wanted to make an example out of him and his dear lost friends so he made no effort to quell the rumors that he only resigned due to being a sympathizer to his traitorous friends.He left the Luofu shortly after, having nothing else tying him to the ship anymore. Perhaps if there had been a dear beloved pet and child to raise things would have been different.Full of bitterness and guilt Jing Yuan throws himself fully into slaying as many abominations of abundance as he can, to obtain some kind of retribution for one of the many powers that led his dear friends to such a tragic end. He fights recklessly in his one man's war against the Abundance, running himself ragged, yet no matter what he somehow keeps making it out alive. He drifts from place to place and eventually hears word that Fu Xuan managed what he he could not. She secured the release from the Shackling Prison for Dan Heng via exile. While it grants him some ease of mind, it doubles down on his sense of guilt for failing his friend, even though he knows the odds were stacked against him due to his personal connection to Dan Feng. He still knows he will never go back to the Xianzhou and only hopes that Dan Heng finds some kind of happiness and freedom out in the galaxy, though he doesn't dare seek him out due to how great his sense of guilt from his failure is.[Note: Most interactions with this will take place in the event of some imaginary tree multiverse shenanigans that have caused this version of Jing Yuan to slip into the game canon universe because it is about that contrast ™ I'm into and then of course logistically it doesn't mess up other muses canons lmao. They did not wish for many visitors or outside interference while the planet was still healing from the tyrannical reign of the Commonwealth. However, a cultural exchange and exchange of knowledge and history was permitted. Though the prospect of space exploration was much too daunting for the citizens of the Sahrian Union. The one only known as The Reader whose thirst for knowledge and continual learning knows no bounds volunteered to go and learn all they could about the faraway places the people of the exploration ship spoke of.While much of this space-faring world still confuses the Reader they wish to learn all they can so their home may one day become allies with as many galactic civilizations as possible, for they will certainly need as many friends as they can get when they do eventually start reaching out to these new stars. They often act as a translator for their homeworld as many still only speak Sahrian and are illiterate. The Synesthesia Beacon system does not work with the spoken Sahrian language yet so the Reader is also working and seeking to work with as many cultures as possible so they can develop a module to be added for the language.

The world in unfair. And sometimes, murder is what brings justice back into the world.Hugo still fakes his own death in this verse, but unlike in the main he's fully committed to burning the pyre with his own humanity in order to get the outcome he desires. Instead of accepting his inner demon he falls to it. Despite tying himself up, Hugo escapes the abandoned warehouse and goes after Hartman before Lycaon returns. He still saves Vivian and the proxy.To hell with ruining the Ravenlock's reputation and having T.O.P.S. cut ties with them. He will simply kill every single one of them personally. Then he'll set his eyes on T.O.P.S. after that, the mayor.Deep down, he still cares for Vivian and Mockingbird (or what it was meant to be back when he and Lycaon were young and naive). But for the sake of Vivian's safety, he keeps ties severed from her, as well as the proxy. Camille and Dina are stopped by Phaeton, Lycaon, and Vivian.
